Three 45 minute sessions delivered in one go - 15-minute break in between.

Start by understanding what makes a good infographic? Where to find inspiration and start to develop your style and adapt it to the brand of your organisation.

SESSION ONE

Before you start designing, you'll need to understand:

About the rule of thirds and the importance of working in grids.

Colour

Selecting harmonious or contrasting colours to grab audience attention.

Content

How do you start? Can everything be an infographic? How you can turn your everyday PowerPoints into something more attractive. 

Icon and Image sourcing

Where to find the best little pictures, for free, and how you can modify them.

Fonts

What to use and when, and where to find them.

Then I'll develop your PowerPoint Essential skills.

You'll need to be able to draw, arrange and line up shapes.

I'll share dozens of shortcuts to get you working faster and smarter. Those niggly things that have been driving you mad in PowerPoint for years will be instantly solved.

SESSION TWO

Getting Clever!

You're learning and practising the basics, time to step up to the next level.

​We'll dig deeper into all the things you learned in part one and add-in:

Cropping

Discover cropping to shapes and sizes and how to create the perfect size images for social media.

 Colouring graphics

How to recolour your icons, including removing backgrounds to make your icons work in many different locations.

Irregular shapes

What to do when you want a shape that isn't available? How to use fragment and join to create your shapes?

SESSION THREE

Becoming Awesome

​Start to create a library of re-usable content and templates, so you're never starting from scratch.

Graphs and Charts

You'll discover the humble pie-chart is the basis for many masterful infographics.

Editing Shape Points

You are making those subtle adjustments so you can draw your graphics and icons, and recolour according to your brand.

Creating Templates

How you can create re-usable templates and colour schemes so other members of your team can leverage your excellent PowerPoint skills.
